Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of hyaluronic acid, vitamins and platelet rich plasma to rejuvenate and tighten skin. Michel Pistor, a doctor in France, developed the technique in 1952.

Mesotherapy is used as an antiageing method against fine wrinkles in the face, especially around the eyes and the mouth, but also in the neck, decolletage and the hands. It can be used also to tighten the loose skin, to enlighten pigmentations, reduce cellulite and against hairloss.

With a fine needle the cocktail of vitamins, hyaluronic acid and PRP is injected in the area we want to address. Fibroblasts are stimulated in creating new collagen and the metabolism of the cells increases. Furthermore it increases the microcirculation, thus more blood flows in the affected area.

Before the treatment a numbing cream will be applied in order to have a painless procedure. The redness after the treatment usually dissolves in the next few hours, thus allowing the patient to continue his/her daily activities.
Depending on the problem the treatment must be done every 4-6 weeks. Before booking an appointment a clinical examination and consultation with the doctor is suggested in order to specify your needs and decide together the most suitable treatment.
